Voices of Naples is a not-for-profit educational organization functioning within the State of Florida. The group consists of a musical director and a volunteer board of directors and singers. All are dedicated to the following mission:
To present a gift of quality choral music to the community that is uplifting to the audience and the choral ensemble.
To provide an opportunity for singers to learn choral techniques and to study various types of choral literature.
To provide scholarship opportunities for student vocalists.
To provide opportunities for the choral ensemble to perform in concert.
Brice Gerlach, a native of San Diego, California, received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Organ Performance from Eastman School of Music and Indiana University, respectively. Gerlach was also awarded the Performer’s Certificate from the Eastman School of Music. He completed his doctorate in Choral Conducting from Indiana University. His organ teachers include L. Robert Slusser, Russell Saunders and Larry Smith. His choral professors include Robert Porco, Jan Harrington and Thomas Dunn.
Brice is Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church of Naples. In addition, he is Artist in Residence at Ave Maria University and is Adjunct Professor in organ and conducting and conducts the Chamber Choir.
